The cover art for Journey to Terre is completely rendered, so this pretty much means that I'm on the home stretch of writing the rough draft and seeking playtesters. If you notice, I'm getting a little better with my lighting schemes since I did the cover art for the Barsoom RPG.

this practically means that my professional work is getting much better. Soon, I'll be able to render in Maya. If I can (posed in DAZ, rendered in Maya, that sort of thing). What do you think? The lighting is 3Delight using the Uber-Environment 2 light shader.

An Adventures in Terre Preview #2
SATURN, VENUS, AND MARS
AN ADVENTURES IN TERRE PREVIEW
A new preview of the Adventures in Terre module sourcebook for Pathfinder. The adventures continue in a world that was colonized by Lemurians and Atlanteans. When the Sky is worshiped, and so called god stars light the night sky. The pantheon of the Old Gods includes Saturn, Venus, and Mars. The New Gods, numbering twelve, represent twelve achievements of mankind since the colonization of the Lemurians and Atlanteans on Terre.
Greater Deity
Symbol: Circle within a Wheel
Alignment: Neutral Good
Portfolio: Sky, glory, nobility, liberty
Domains: Air, Community, Good, Law, Liberation
Favored Weapon: Scythe
Saturn. The god that ruled over the age of Virtue, the Age of Perfect Harmony. Called Kronos of the Greeks, and Saturn of the Romans, the Ancient God is a god of peace and wisdom. Under his protection, the people of Terre was happy and there were no problems or complaints. Since Saturn isn't seen in the sky, most people participate in a festival that celebrates a time when Saturn will return to the Earth and restore the age of perfect virtue.
Venus
Intermediate Deity
Symbol: Star
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Portfolio: Love, beauty, and awe
Domains: Chaos, Charm, Good
Favored Weapon: Dagger
Associated as the mother deity in the Ancient patheon, Venus is a woman to be both loved and feared. She embodies the ideals of phenomenal beauty, love, and desire. However, Venus has a dangerous aspect, that of becoming the Dragon (see below). Venus inspired the Star symbol among Terreans, and her symbol is a five pointed, six pointed, or eight pointed star.
Mars
Intermediate DeitySymbol: Scarred Soldier
Alignment: Lawful Good
Portfolio: War, protection, agriculture
Domains: Law, Plant, Protection, War
Favored Weapon: Halfspear
The god of War and Protection, the Warrior God. Mars is the eye of God, and the one that fought Chaos and fought the dragon. While farmers pray to him, Warriors sought to learn his weapon arts. And they sought his protection in war through the armor they wore. The leather kilt, the crested helmet, and so forth were all seen as ways of getting protection from the war god.

Adventure to be 4th Edition?
Anyone want to see an official conversion of the current adventure I'm working on to 4th edition?
Since it's going to be open sourced, wouldn't it be better if you converted it yourself?
If you want to see the adventure I'm working on: Blood Challenge, to be statted for 4e; then there's something you've got to know. It's a character development piece for an orc character. Which means it follows the orc PC's character and develops him or her quite closely. It has heavy RP elements, however don't worry, you'll get to beat people up and take their stuff. *har har*. If you want to see it statted for 4e by me . . .stand up and be counted and write your approval on the blog. If not, then go ahead and write your approval anyhow. And Greywulf, the tribe in question is the Grey Wolf tribe.

Steal this Location!!
Appleby-in-Westmorland
Introduction: Every gamemaster needs a location or two to start an adventure rolling. Especially a location with a set of adventure sites that will inspire the PCs and the GM to make their own adventures and write their own stories. The stats are written for Rolemaster but can be quickly adapted to any Roleplaying Game.
The county of Appleby-in-Westmorland is based on the city of Appleby-in-Westmorland; strangely enough; in England. The county is set in West Cumbria but it can be used as a locale in just about any game setting. Castle Appleby is the home of the Count of Appleby: Lord Janus de Vipont. Over the years, the castle was upgraded from a Motte and Bailey castle by the family of Vipont to a Gothic structure. Castle Appleby protects the town of Westmorland. The town itself is a bustling medieval small city, with buildings that hang over the streets. Many of the homes are jettied, and there are a few townhouses for sale.
Adventurers hardly pass through the town, making the ancient sites worth investigating. The ancient sites include:
* A chalk etching of a horse in the countryside.
* At least three ancient forts.
* A cave called Kinsmouth Grotto
* An ancient stone circle.
More later . . . including hints that the Count is actually a vampire. :)

The Dragon Wife heroic Cast!
Dragon Wife Heroes by ~Atlantean6 on deviantART
Here are the heroes of the Dragon Wife comic. The group is not your typical Dungeons and Dragons adventuring group. Okay. Left to right they are:
Varainye -- Her name means "Dirty Girl." Varainye is a barbarian, she wears short hair, and is strong for her type. She has been working out and increasing her physical strength. She is stronger than most women of her race, the Massalian Elves.
Greywulf -- Greywulf is an orcish shaman. He left home after getting tired of raiding and his shrewish wife. His tribe, the Ice Dragontooth Tribe, had labeled him as a deserter since he disappeared during a raid on Northumberland territory.
Tyr -- The fighter of the group. Not as powerful as Varainye when she goes into a rage, but he thinks coolly under pressure.
The Shaper -- "He's perfect."
Fyreheart -- Fyreheart is the Shaper's wife. She messes up his perfect life by introducing chaos and bringing his life totally out of control.
After these comes the villain menagerie.

The Black Fox!
Robin Hood and the Black Fox are the primary inspirations, I think, of the guy that trains rogues in my adventure I'm writing.
Quite the looker isn't he? Here -- I'm taking names. What should his name be? (remember, he has a secret identity like most masked Crusaders -- so suggest a real name and an alias).

Writing for the Pathfinder Society
My cousin has urged me to write for the Pathfinder society. Here is my idea:
ESCAPE FROM PIRATES' HOLD
Having been sent on a mission for your king, you the PCs take a ride by boat. Unfortunately, a freak storm beset your ship and wrecked it. All hands are presumed lost, except for you. Swimming for your lives, you make it to Day Mountain Grotto, by swimming the stretch into one of the cave's chambers. You are cold and wet and hungry. However, little do you know that this grotto is in use by pirates . . .
Escape from Pirates' Hold is an Adventure for Tier 1-5 (subtier 1-2) characters. It's simple, you must escape by any means necessary and get your bearings.
* A Classic Tale of Swashbuckling Adventure and Romance.
* Fight your way out of Pirate's Hold.
* And save the precious jewel.
* Written in Screenplay style ala Feng Shui.
High Adventure, not on the high seas, but on the coast. Escape from Pirate's Hold is breathtaking in its scope. :) Fight Pirates. Fight monsters. Fight even the dreaded Pirate Captain Calypso Jack. It's fun for your entire group! :)
Written by Elton Robb (and hopefully, the cover illustration!).
