If anyone out there thinks that they can ban human pornogaphy (photographs of women or men in revealing clothing, provocative nude, or actually performing sex); they have another thing coming. You can't get rid of it that way. It will go way underground and it will be easily found.
Understandably, a woman would feel hurt if she seen her husband viewing human pornography (see above). Nudists like myself understand what the cure is. Going back to an edenic society where everyone is nude. Principally, the added addition of Polygamy according to the Lord's Law will also be an added solvent to the problem.
Pornography isn't a simple violation of the Law of Chastity as people think it is. The man longs to look at other human beings in the nude to remove the mystery of the body. Purists want to keep the body a mystery, thinking that is what the Lord hath commanded when our parents was kicked out of Eden. However, the Lord said moderation in all things -- including covering of the body.
I think we are paying for it when we have gone to the extreme. How do you expel pornography from our society? The cures are laid out by the Lord. Nudism and Polygamy (note: the polygamous man has to be a righteous person to take care of all of his wives). Unfortunately, we the Latter-day Saints rejected both. The first came by the Spirit, so it became a reality among another people (the Germans). The second was a Commandment of the Lord and we rejected the second to gain Statehood. Angered, the Lord took away the priesthood of the Leadership of the Church. So, we have pornography as a persistent pollution until we come to terms that Polyamorous love is what is needed for the human race to progress.
Yahweh will have a humble, believing people; and he will get a humble, believing people even if He has to chastise us with nuclear weapons.

The Furry Fandom and it's Pornography
Normally, I'd be posting on my own blog about how I've been traversing the waters of the Furry fandom. However, it would be hypocritical about posting about pornography since I, myself, am guilty of creating Pornography at times on this site and on others. So, to lessen the stigma of being a porn artist, I thought I'd post my thoughts here.
As a nudist, I often encountered pornography. In fact, early in my twenties and late in my teens I encountered it often before I was a nudist. Every day, in fact, I encountered pornography. The reason was clear, I was avoiding it as the Prophet, Seer, and Revelator at the time counseled us to do (yes, I'm officially, a Mormon). Oh boy, was I avoiding it! As a result, I came into contact with just about every type of pornography you can imagine.
So, to deal with it, I had to come to terms as to what I actually desired. The manifestation of that desire was looking up nudism. Pow! Nudity didn't have to be all about sex! Or Attraction! Or any thing base as it is. After browsing Christian sites, I learned that the body is good and sex itself, is good too. Then I learned that my ideas about God is screwed up. I am guilty of making God in my image (A violation of the Second Commandment) and I seriously questioned the LDS faith. Is the Church of Latter-day Saints the true Church now? Or is it not? Note: my question was answered about two years ago when I found the Parowan Prophet's site; I'm convinced that the Church is true because the Son of Man desires to punish us Mormons extremely harshly for being "a disobedient bride," fortunately he sent a prophet to warn those who would listen as to what he was going to do. I'm not surprised that the prophet was rejected. Most Mormons don't know their own doctrine and don't believe Him or follow his commandments and want their leaders to tell them what they want to hear -- that all is well in Zion, Zion prospereth, and how to attain perfection in this life. While the Son of Man seethes with anger at his Chosen People -- the Mormons and everyone who lives in America.
I came to the conclusion that the Church is still true even though its leaders and some (or most? I'll stick with some) aren't. The church is perfect, the people in it aren't. So back to Pornography and my nudism.
If you notice my work here, I am doing a comic. Since everyone expected it to be spicy from the beginning I seriously questioned spicing it. Isn't there enough pornography -- pictures of people having sex -- on So Furry already? I came to the conclusion that I was right and rebelled, making a porn comic into a clean one simply by changing it's focus. I chose to focus on "Nude is not Rude!" instead of focusing on "Nude invites sex."
So, to the true Antagonist. This comic is inspired by "The Bare Pit" by Noodtoonist (his first name is Stephen) (http://www.webcomicsnation.com/thebarepit/thebarepit/series.php?view=single&ID=20083). The plan was to finish up the storyline in So Furry and move the comic to Web Comics Nation. I'm questioning that plan. The problem is, I'd be abandoning them and they would be left one (or two) clean comic(s) about nudism on a site that has a lot of porn comics.
Although I don't consider myself to be a furry, I really can't do that. So I'm continuing to publish my 3D comic there. I still need an Antagonist, though. The person that hinders the people's natural right to be nude in the comic (it's in the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. Having thought about it, this Antagonist would be anti-nude because he thought that Nudism invited sexuality (he's also self righteous and works for the Textile industry by making clothes, he would also be anti-furrydom for much of the same reasons). Thinking about his roots as a character, I put up his species to a vote.
I figured that if he were a "furry," it would even the playing field. And voting they are! So far, Fox is the one in the running. Oh, as to my feelings about the Furry Fandom, with what I've seen on VCL and so furry, I frankly don't blame the world for isolating the fandom. Some of the adult stuff is actually very bad, and very shocking. Frankly, there is consequences to our actions, and isolation and ridicule is one of them.
I wanted to post here to see where I can build bridges between the fandom and the mundanes. Quite frankly, I really don't see how I can. But I'm going to do it. It's not really fair for the fandom to separate themselves, or the mundanes to separate you. The fandom exists in its current form -- and I can't help but think if the Country was chock full of nudists (say, about 1 in 10 Americans were nudists who went nude or bare chested and bare breasted in public) they wouldn't have too much of a problem being accepted.
Although I bet that most of the depictions of sex on that site wouldn't exist (I'd say about 75% of the adult stuff on So Furry wouldn't have been made) because of their quality, I'd pretty much say that sex wouldn't have the stigma that it does have and people would welcome pictures of people having sex -- furry or otherwise.
But we don't live in a "perfect world" yet. Although, I'd say that the furry fandom is a reaction -- a Reaction to the hypocritical prudery that Americans believe in. Not the best reaction -- American nudism is that -- but a reaction none the less. People hate the furry fandom because it exposes them as hypocrites (it's not just the Bestiality -- but the hypocrisy). The fandom is a symptom, really. A symptom of how bad our society has gotten in its attitude towards sex, the body, and other things I can't identify. To become a pure nation and a pure land again, we Americans have to learn how to accept others as who they are and stop being inquitious and thinking of ourselves as separate from others.

What I learned from Pornography
Okay, I learned a valuable lesson from porn.
A. It's not porn if you don't make it be.
B. It's okay for people to enjoy sex.
So, why avoid it? It can be used as a springboard for temptation. You could put yourself into a position to be tempted to have sex when you aren't ready to. Or you can descend into acts of adultery and fornication. But avoidance is BAD!
Why is avoidance is bad?
There will be more opportunities for you to avoid pornography. *shrug* The more you avoid pornography, the more pornography will be there for you to avoid.
What can be done?
Focus on the opposite of pornography.
What is the opposite of pornography?
Nudism.
What?
You read me.
Nudism? Doesn't that have to do with sex?
It can, but mostly, it doesn't.
Wait, how can getting naked and being naked with people other than my (wife/husband) be the opposite of pornography?
It's not easily explained, but the best way to explain it that it fosters self control.
Really?
Yes.
I don't believe it!
Fine. But that's how I feel.

We Are Responsible for Creating Pornography
Simple as that. We created the monster that lives and breathes on the Internet.
In all actuality, we created Pornography for the very reason why we abhore it. Most of the US does not like naked bodies. Nevertheless, we created Pornography any way by giving it definition. In Victorian Times. Yes, it was Victorian Times when pornography was conceived. The Victorian Prude, found everywhere, was instrumental in creating Pornography. By making the body a forbidding thing, only between man and wife was pornography given a form, identity, definition, and a function.
Now that bastard child of Victorian times invades our homes via the Internet and everyone can see the Frankenstein we've created. Yet, even now, anti-pornography organizations have sprung up to combat the monster. "We must defeat or destroy pornography!" they cry. "Kill the ogre!"
By rallying against pornography we are creating even more pornography! It is the Law that what ever we fight against must needs expand so that it will always exist for us to contest against. We are effectively giving pornography power in order to do this. However, there is hope.
The hope is that Pornography continues to spread like wildfire so that people will finally recognize Pornography for what it actually is. And then, they will recognize it's opposite: Wholesome Family and Social Nudity; and discover that Nudism and Naturism provide the best way to defeat the ogre. Wholesome Family and Social Nudity truly opposes Pornography in a most perfect and bright way.
By participating in Wholesome Social Nudity, a man or a woman can counteract the lessons they've learned. That the body is a wholesome creation of God; and therefore sex itself is wholesome. By focusing on Wholesome Social Nudity, Pornography can actually lose its steam. It can run out of firewood to burn and become eventually harmless.
In fact, the signs are encouraging. Wholesome Nudity is on the rise: nude recreation is one of the fastest growing industries in the U.S. today. Married couples are spending more and more time in the nude. Scientific research is encouraging this: stating that it is actually healthy to sunbathe. Nudist parents are raising nudist children who are well adjusted and balanced. So, as pornography grows, so does it's Opposite. And the future is bright in this regard.

Is Lobbying Against Pornography a Good Thing(tm)?
I mean seriously, does lobbying against Pornography produce positive results? In my home city, porn consumption is really off the wall. Salt Lake City has more incidence of porn consumption than any other city. So what good would lobbying against Pornography do?
The Anti-porn lobby is all about Censorship. This is something the 1st Amendment actually does not sanction. The 1st Amendment states: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." Censorship is abriding the freedom of the press. Censors often determine what is appropriate or not for a larger group of people. This is morally wrong.
So, if these anti-porn societies actually get their way in a society that is even more sexually repressed than that of the rest of the nation; what would happen? Nothing good, I think. Shame is an awful thing, body shame is just an awful thing. Body shame is what pornography exploits to gain its power. So, what will actually treat pornography?
Nudism. Nudism seems to be the best answer. Nudism is the practice of nakedness for body acceptance and chaste purposes, not for sex. It combats pornography by presenting the opposite message about the body. Pornography depends on mystery, secret, shame. Nudism presents the body as open, true, and accepted. Unfortunately, our bodies are outlawed. Not a problem. If enough (say thousands in the Wasatch Front) civilly disobeyed the Law in being just naked, then the Pornography problem will just go away. At least that is what I think.
If you need more information about what Naturism/Nudism can do for you, feel free to check my other blog on Windows Live.
