A Treatise on the Force

The Star Wars Saga has been one of the best series of movies that came out of Hollywood in the late 20th Century and part of the Early Twenty-first.  The most important message of the Saga was the message about the Force.

If you remember the first movie, Episode 4, Obi-wan Kenobi introduced Luke Skywalker to the Force.  He described the Force as an energy field generated by all living things.  It surrounds us, penetrates us, and binds the Galaxy together and started Luke on his path on becoming a Jedi and facing the two Dark Lords of the Sith.

As the stories of Star Wars continued to expand, we learned much of the Jedi and the Dark Lords of the Sith, the Republic, the Sith Empire, and the Galaxy.  Recently, last year, Star Wars: the Old Republic Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game (MMORPG) was released.  This game answers most of the questions of the Jedi and the Sith.  Where did they start?  How did they come to be?  What actually happened?  However, watching on-line Lets Plays reveals something of the players of the game.  More people played as Sith Lords or as Jedi than as Troopers, Smugglers, Bounty Hunters, and Imperial Agents.

Understanding Star Wars


Star Wars sets itself apart from Star Trek in the basic idea that the premise of both are incredibly different.  Star Trek presents a positive view of Science and the Achievement of Man.  Star Wars is a Spiritual, almost religious, Myth.  Both are the brain children of two men.  One was a police officer, the other was a racer.  The second, George Lucas, was in a car accident while racing.  According to his biography, George Lucas was in the hospital when he came to learn of the Force.  The Star Wars movies presents his beliefs about the Force.  A lot of people believe that the Force is fiction. However, in the twentieth Century, Science has been done before the Movies had ever come out, that may prove that the Force is an actual reality.

Doctor Riche and the Force


Doctor Riche was a German Scientist who made an interesting discovery.  He practically discovered an energy that is present in all living things -- he called it the Orgone Energy.  What he found was that the Orgone came in two flavors -- Positive Orgone and Deadly Orgone.  Positive Orgone -- which he called POR -- can heal and cause growth in an organism if properly accumulated.  Deadly Orgone causes Dis-Ease (disease) and sickness in an organism and can eventually kill.

When he published his discoveries and experiments with Orgone, Doctor Riche came under attack by a vicious smear campaign.  He was eventually found guilty by an obscure health law, imprisoned, and his books burned.  His life destroyed, this gentle scientist died in Prison.  But the discoveries he has made with life and energy was so significant that Doctor Albert Einstein was impressed.  Not impressed enough to endorse Doctor Riche, but impressed.

Since then, we have Photographic Proof of the Orgone Energy.  It appears as a blue glow around Astronauts, Galaxies, the Earth, and organisms in the Earth.  The Force is real enough.  So, as the Force is real -- as in actual photographic proof, what does that make us?

The Vibrational Being


As humans (and star children, and indigo children, you know who you are) we are vibrational beings.  We are capable of altering the vibrations of Energy -- the Force -- all around us to produce results.  This is either a determined result or a subconscious result.

In the movies, Force sensitives were able to show that they can control the Force, they were able to show that they can alter the Force, and sense the Force.  Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader could telekinetically move objects, see the future, and alter patterns in the Force to their desires.  Even Darth Sidious was able to do this -- as he arrogantly bragged to Vader's son how everything transpired according to his desires.

Ironically, not many people know we can do the same.  However, instead of telekinesis, and being our own seers, we alter the Force through creation.  As vibrational beings, we alter Force patterns.  However, to be able to do this, we also have to be beings of the Force ourselves.

In Episode 5 and the Episode 6 novelizations, both Yoda and Vader told Luke that we are luminous beings and not the crude matter that makes up our bodies.  This implies that we are all apart of the Force, and therefore, connected to one another.  This is the true message of the movies: that we are beings able to alter the Force.  We are luminous, spiritual beings.

The Jedi and Sith, a Critique


One of the interesting things that came out of the movies is a new religion that has appeared on Earth.  This religion is called the Jedi religion and it's been pieced together from the movies.  However, I'd like to say that although the Jedi and Sith in the movies are on the right track, they have existed so long in that Galaxy that both have missed the mark as a Religion.  Both Jedi and Sith are members of the same religion -- just that one side believes in strict monastic, or Aesthetic beliefs and the other indulges in the opposite.

What Happened on Tython
The MMORPG gets into what happened on Tython, the home planet of both Jedi and Sith, a little.  From what is said on the Wookieepedia, those that followed Ashla and Bodan had a dichotomous disagreement over how the Force should be used.  The Ashlar believed that strict control over one's passions is the key, while the Bodanists believed that unbridled emotion is the key to getting results.  A fight broke out, and the result was a true schism.  The Bodanists were eventually banished and the Ashlar, who became the Jedi, left the planet on their own accord, relocating on Coruscant.

The Bodan Jedi eventually found the Sith aliens and conquered them, becoming the Dark Lords of the Sith according to the Galactic Record.  The Ashla Jedi simply became the Jedi.  The two constantly clashed, but the two groups truly balanced one another.  The Jedi can't exist without the Sith, it's impossible.  If one group was destroyed, that group will eventually arise from the one who is victorious.  So, the Galaxy was in balance because of the existence of both Jedi and Sith.  However, both are wrong in their approach to the Force and the role of emotion.

I thought about what it would be like if Jesus Christ was born on Tython and how the Jedi and Sith would respond to his teachings.  Jesus Christ, who would be the ultimate Force user, would probably put the Jedi Council and the Dark Council in a total tizzy.  His teachings would bring both councils into an uproar as he  probably would denounce both Sith and Jedi as hypocrites and taught the common people their secrets.

Jesus, a man of infinite love and compassion, would suffer death after their hands.  Both the Jedi and the Sith would slay the Great Sage of Nazareth.  So, I figure that there was probably a third group of Jedi on Tython, who strived to be one with the Living Force by neither denying emotion nor letting it run unbridled, but experienced emotion and were passionate enough to deliberately create from the Force.

Christianity and the Force


Most people don't understand that they are Children of the Force.  However, all people on the Planet Earth has at least three fathers:  the Father of our Intelligence, the Father of our Spirits, and our Earthly father make up the trinity that gives us our origins.  Christians have a fourth father: Jesus Christ himself.  All Christians -- whether baptized by proper authority or not, have taken upon themselves the name of Jesus Christ.  But lets talk about these fathers, each in turn.

The First Father is our Earthly father.  Our Earthly fathers have given us life by having sex with our mothers.  When a father and a mother come together and become one flesh, they create new Life.  Both must unite in this common purpose to create a body of Flesh and Blood so that we may experience Earth Life and learn from our experience.  Through our Earthly father and mother, we are given a physical body so we can experience what we truly desire through our five senses -- Taste, Smell, Touch, Sight, and Hearing.

The Second Father is our Heavenly Father -- the Great Eternal.  He is known by many names, but its most proper to call him Heavenly Father.  The Jews call him Elohim, but in that, there is a strong problem.  The word Elohim is plural.  Our Heavenly Father is immortal, meaning that he has both Life Eternal -- a body of Flesh and Bones -- and Eternal Life.  He is the father of our Spirit, or as the Psychologist would say, the father of our Consciousness.  The process of creating Spirit bodies, however, is similar to creating a body of flesh and blood.

The Third Father is the Force itself.  Our intelligence, our power and will to act, has to have an Origin.  This is the Force, or more properly, the Holy Spirit.  In ancient Hebrew the Holy Spirit is known as Ruach, which means wind, breath, mind, and spirit.  We are all Children of the Holy Spirit.  In a fit of Understanding Itself and seeking to be more, the Holy Spirit split a part of itself into infinite parts.  These parts are us.  All of us.  Man, Animal, Plant, Mineral.  All of us are a part of the Force or the Holy Spirit. Therefore, as a part of the Force, we are all connected to the Force, and through the Force, we are connected to each other.  We are children of the Holy Spirit, and as such we are capable of having anything, doing anything, and being anything.

If we desire to lift an object without touching it, we can do so.  If we desire to see the future and the past, we can do so.  If we desire to leap high, cast Force lightning, and do other things beautiful, great, and terrible; we can do so.  If we desire an abundance of goods, we will have them.  If we desire to reject the message of Salvation, we can do so (and many have done so).  The Force exists to grant our every desire, whether good or evil, bad or righteous, such desires are always granted by the Force.

The Fourth Father however, pertains to Christians.  This fourth Father is Jesus Christ himself.  As Christians, we have taken upon ourselves His name, and acknowledge Him to be the Father of our Salvation.  Jesus Christ made it possible for us to come into Heavenly Father's presence.  As Christians, we are to put our trust in Jesus Christ's sacrifice and live our lives according to how the Holy Spirit or the Force, directs us to live.

In this way, Jesus Christ is our Messiah, our Savior.  He saved us from our sins, or our rebelliousness against the Holy Spirit.  He saved us from an eternity of pain and suffering.  Jesus also has another identity.  Jesus, whose English name means NOTHING in Hebrew, was given the Hebrew name of Yeshua -- which is transliterated into English as Joshua.  Yeshua, or Yahshua, means in Hebrew "Yahweh is Salvation."

This means that Jesus is Yahweh (pronounced "Yah-way").   This also means that Yahweh is Jesus. The God of the Old Testament, the God that commanded the Israelites to leave Egypt and to slay the Canaanites, is Jesus Christ of the new Testament.  They are one and the same.  When you speak of Yahweh, you are speaking of Jesus Christ.  And when you are speaking of Jesus Christ, you are speaking of Yahweh.  Jesus was crucified and was resurrected, meaning that he has a body of Flesh and Bone and is fully alive.

Jesus doesn't sleep, he is very aware of what is going on with the World and he has pleaded with His people in the latter days to repent and to believe upon Him and to forsake our vain quest for popularity and material things.  Jesus has had enough with the wayward ways of His nation, and He will chastise His nation for our adulterous and slutty behavior.  However, Jesus is full of infinite love and compass ion.  He has sent a Prophet for those who want to live through his judgement of America, he will call those who will listen.  These are His elect, and he will have them be prepared so he can have a nation of Priests and Priestesses, Kings and Queens once again.

In Summation

So to conclude the Treatise, the Force in Star Wars is an actual thing.  It has been scientifically documented and experimented with by Doctor Wilhelm Riche.  The Force is Orgone Energy, and there is photographic proof of the Force.

The Force is the father of our Intelligence.  Because we are the Children of the Force, we are all connected to one another.  We are also infinite as the Force is infinite, and we are capable of having anything, doing anything, and being anything we desire.  We are truly the Children of God.

The Great Eternal, our Heavenly Father -- is the Father of our Spirits.  The Spirit is the blueprint, or pattern, of our bodies.  The Spirit gives our Intelligence definition and form.  The Great Eternal, our Heavenly Father -- has a body of Flesh and Bones.  Therefore, he was once a man liken unto our Earthly father.  He was once mortal and had mortal children.  Now he has an immortal body and has immortal children.

Our Earthly fathers are the fathers of our bodies.  Our Earthly father, with the help of our Earthly mother, made it possible to for us to have a mortal body and to be able to experience Earth life.  With a body we are capable of making manifest our desires, through the Force, into physical reality.

Our Father of our Salvation is Jesus Christ.  As Christians, we have taken upon ourselves his name and promised not to be hypocrites -- saying one thing but doing another.  Doing so is taking the name of Christ in vain.  Vanity is a shallow thing when made manifest, especially as Christians.  It is easier to be a Christian in vain, though -- than it is to be a Christian in reality.  A vain Christian has the pride and popularity of the World.  A real Christian is thought of as peculiar, strange, and weird by the World.  Such a man or woman is laughed at, spit upon, thought of as crazy, weird, and eventually may find himself under physical persecution for his belief in Christ.  He may even lose his life for the Father of his Salvation.

The Force is a real thing.  We are real Children of the Force, or God.  As such, we should do everything we can to Learn about ourselves, the reality of ourselves, and seek Atonement with God.  We are to become one with God and eventually become as Exalted as the Great Eternal is.

The Church of Ba'al

After reading Urban Arcana for d20 Modern, I noticed something that I dismissed.  It was the Church of Pelor.  In Urban Arcana, the Church of Pelor has migrated from the world of Shadow to the Modern World of 21st Century America.  However, I realized that it has become very, very important.  The Church of Pelor is utterly appropriate for Urban Arcana.

Pelor is Greyhawk's Sun Deity.  Ba'al is Earth's Sun Deity.

The Church of Ba'al is alive and well in Modern America.  Every Christian in America has been duped into worshipping Ba'al.  The Ba'alim, or Priests of Ba'al, have infiltrated the Christian Church in almost every aspect, and have now infiltrated the Church of Christ in America in all denominations and sects.  Ba'al worship has replaced Christian Worship and the Priests of Ba'al do good in the name of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ desires worship of the Most High during the Sabbath.

The true Christian Sabbath is the Lunar Sabbath, which in 2011 is on a Tuesday.  Ba'al's Priests however has tricked the Christians into believing that Sunday, and Sunday only, is the Sabbath.  They have tricked Christians into believing that since Christ rose on the Sabbath, and that the Sabbath is Sunday.

The Priests of Ba'al whisper good things into the ears of Christians.  They proclaim them from oaken pulpits and tell the Christians that they can seek perfection.  They tell the Christians that Pornography is a scourge and one must avoid it.  They tell the Christians to rely on them for Salvation.  They also tell the Christians that it's better to be spiritually prepared for the Second Coming of Christ than it is to be physically prepared.

These Priests of Ba'al have forbidden men and women to marry, they have given heed to seducing spirits, and the doctrines of devils.  The priests of Ba'al speak lies in Hypocrisy, and have seared the consciences of Christians with a hot iron.   Some of them command to abstain from meats, which was created to be received with thanksgiving of Christians.

Most Atheists have accused Christians of being hypocritical.  The Atheists are right, when they are speaking about the priests of Ba'al.  Most Christians, however, are in utter confusion.  As a Christian myself, the worship of Ba'al is an abomination and must be stopped by Christians if we are to get the United States on Track.  However, the priests of Ba'al infiltration into the Church is so complete that it will take a Divine Miracle to do just that.

So, who is Ba'al?

Baʿal (Biblical Hebrew בעל, pronounced [ˈbaʕal], usually spelled Baal in English) is a Northwest Semitic title and honorific meaning "master" or "lord"^[1] that is used for various gods who were patrons of cities in the Levant andAsia Minor, cognate to Akkadian Bēlu. A Baalist or Baalite means a worshipper of Baal.


Ba'al is a title meaning "Master" or "Lord."  The false god Ba'al is a canaanite deity from Tyr and Sidon.  He is a Sun deity, meaning that the Ba'alim are sun worshippers.  However, in Ancient Times, the children of Israel had begun worshipping Ba'al -- calling Yahweh "Ba'al" and offering sacrifices up to Ba'al instead of Yahweh.  Eventually, during the reign of King Ahab, Yahweh sent Elijah to prove to the children of Israel that Ba'al was false and that He, Yahweh, was God.


The contest was over sacrifices.  It was to see which God listened.  The Priests of Ba'al would cry to Ba'al, they importune him, they would finally resort to self mutilation to prove themselves and gain Ba'al's attention.  Through all this, Ba'al would not listen.  After the Priests of Ba'al have let a lot of blood and exhausted themselves, it was Elijah's turn to call upon Yahweh.


Elijah then would have his bullock drenched with water and then he called upon Yahweh.  Yahweh responded by sending "Fire from Heaven" which burned the sacrifice and licked up the water.  The "Fire from Heaven" was an Interplanetary thunderbolt of plasma.


After the spectacular display, Elijah slew the priests of Ba'al and the Children of Israel had repented and started to call Yahweh by his rightful name -- YAHWEH and not "Lord."  However, that wasn't the end of Ba'al worship.  The Ba'alim went underground and infiltrated Judaism again.


After Yahweh came into his mortal form as Yahushua ben Joseph ben Judah and completed his mission, the Priests of Ba'al killed most of his apostles and infiltrated the Church.  They've been stuck in the Church of Christ ever since.  They have replaced Yahweh with Lord in the Holy Scriptures, and called Yahushua the Lord Jesus Christ -- giving Yahushua the name of another false deity -- Zeus (Iesous -- "HEY ZEUS!").  When the Christian Church was restored (as the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints), it was so that there would be a people prepared for Yahushua's return.


However, in the 20th Century, the Ba'alim have infiltrated the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and have wickedly subsumed the worship of the Christ with the worship of Ba'al.  The infiltration is so complete that now Yahushua has to set aside a people from the people he set aside.  The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was never meant to be popular.  The people were meant to be "special" and "peculiar" to the people of the world.


We were meant to be persecuted while we quietly gathered those who would listen so that they will be physically saved for the Second Coming.   However, all of this has been undermined.  In our zeal to be popular, we have allowed the Ba'alists to infiltrate the Church and takeover the Church.  So, the takeover is so complete that we have broken mostly every commandment.  We have coveted, we have taken the name of Christ in vain, we have crafted graven images and bowed down to worship them.  We do not keep the Sabbath day holy.  We have children who speak ill of their parents and fight their parents, we have committed Adultery as a body -- having left the Christ and sought other gods -- the god of Money (Mammon), the god of Popularity, the god of Fear, the goddess and god of Christmas, the goddess Eoster, and the gods of Hallowe'en.


When I found out about our sins, I was shocked!  But yes, in our Zeal we have allowed ourselves to go to sleep and not notice the corruption that has taken place.  Ba'al is the most worshipped deity in North America.  He is worshipped mostly because of confusion of Ba'al over the Christ.  However the Christ promised that one day the Ba'alim will be overthrown and that his people will call him Ishi -- or Husband, instead of Ba'al, or Lord. 

The First Day of October

and it has been quite a week.

This is the fourth day I used my new MacBook that I received from school.  The MacBook is an old stock that comes loaded with some programs -- Adobe CS5 and Office 2008.  As such, my old MacBook Pro still works satisfactorily and I networked both of them together.

As I use my MacBook for school and work, the pro has taken on a role for rendering.  As I have them networked together, I can play my iTunes library on my new mac while using DAZ Studio on the other, just to show off.

Also, on this day, General Conference is supposed to convene.  I am waiting for baited breath, not on what they say.  But on what would happen.  The Father or the Christ are going to cause the Salt Lake Valley to shake and shake violently.

The Parowan Prophet says its supposed to happen today, since its the third year of Obama's reign in the White House (yes, I say reign).  I believe the Prophet, but I believe Christ.  Christ has his own time table as to when this happens.  Whether Salt Lake City shakes today or next year, it doesn't matter really on the Prophet's veracity as a prophet.  His primary job is to warn the people of our sins and abominations.

Yes, I know, it's heavy stuff.  However, the Earthquake is to shake the people.  The time of separating the wheat from the tares is now.  Pretty soon, however, I should have a new comic to publish on this blog, or it's own blog, I haven't chosen yet.

Thoughts about Idolatry

I just thought of something.  All the paintings of Christ might be hindering us to seek his face.  A picture of Christ is an idolatry because it gets in the way of seeking his face.  We are commanded and privileged to seek his face so that we know without a doubt that he is the Christ.

Images and idols doth make us draw away from him.  I now undersand why he wants to get rid of the Christus statue in the North Visitor's Center and to grind it to dust.  If I were him, I'd be angry at an idealized statue of me too, when I want to reveal myself to my servants so that they know without a doubt.

The statue is idolized because we think it's an awesome thing.  People worship it, they direct their emotions to the Christus.  I understand that it's just a statue, a lifeless rock that is carved in the likeness of the Christ and it deflects the people's devotion away from the Christ.  I asked myself, if I met him face to face and talked with him face to face, would I change?  I would say that no one who has seen his face would not be changed by the experience.

I had a dream that my brother took on the likeness of Christ.  Not his exact face, but a likeness unto the Christ (last night, my youngest brother).  I came away from the dream, with my concerns about him relieved.   My youngest brother will have Yah's name written on his forehead and that he will be taken care of.


As for any Atheists that read my blog, I have learned some interesting things in my philosophy class.  So, my advice is for you to ignore this post and don't comment.  If I hear one: "Are we to believe in unicorns, and fairies now?"  I'll post an article about the Infinite Universe.

After the New York Gay Vote

Chris Sawyer, a furry artist based out of Los Angeles asked:

I can't imagine what the knuckledraggers in the mid west might be doing. Come on christian america! Why is gay people having equal rights so scary???


Answer:

Verily, thus saith the Lord concerning that which shall shortly come to pass. Yea, that which shall terminate in the death and misery on hundreds of millions. This people will not heed the signs given. Their sorrow after the events of 911 have passed quickly. They laugh at a woman who mocks my commandments, who wears the suit of a man, and surrounds herself with people who have rejected me and my commandments. They who turn away their ears from hearing my commandments; their prayers shall be an abomination unto me.

The destruction of the twin towers of Babylon, and the fires and deaths only portrays that which shall shortly come upon this whole nation. They embrace the pollutions and doctrines of Babylon. I have said that Babylon would be destroyed in one hour. Those high buildings of glory both came down in one hour. Such shall this contemptible, despicable nation be. It shall perish in one hour. Scorners shall see it come.

The abomination of desolation shall stalk the land and consume the wicked. Yea, men shall curse God because of that sickness. They think their judgment is more righteous than God. What has been fortold must come to pass. Men and women harden their hearts instead of opening their eyes to see what will save them. Instead of seeing the sin of this nation, they accuse others to justify their abominable acts.

I have said before that the righteous few left shall tread upon the ashes of the wicked. The daughters of Zion are about the most rebellious. They teach their children not to obey our fathers commands. But they embrace the doctrines and heathen ideas of Babylon. See how many will embrace the heathen idea of Babylon and decorate their homes and shops, with ribbons and ornaments in the shortly coming days ahead. 

I shall scab their heads, and slay their men because they continue in their traditions. Why should I continue with this generation any longer?  Yea, the past 40 years have been enough. They have no prayer in their schools. The races mix their blood to their own death. They strive for the pleasures of this world and embrace the sins of Sodom.

Some ask how could such disaster as 911 happen? Others know, how could it not happen! This people reject the words of Moses; the commands of God to his people. Today they have so rejected God that they are no longer his people, and they  deserve what they get. I say again some women are the worst. They shall weep bitter tears in vain for their children because they have taught them by their own example to reject God and all of his commandments which are written to see.

I told thee before that they will reject thy warnings until their blood is shed. This must be so because they have rejected me and the holy men that I have sent before thee.

They will excuse away thy words as those of a crazy man.
Yet they seek not to know and understand themselves.
I must rid the earth of their kind. My Kingdom shall come, the time is fulfilled, my Kingdom shall be established.

Plain, isn't it?  People laugh at the man who received this revelation, but I can't ignore this.  There are too many people who see and say the same thing.  Forcing the Christian Church to marry those with same sex attraction is prelude to Nuclear Annihilation.   Besides, Gay Advocates are useful idiots to the corrupt and evil among the ruling class.  They will probably be the first up against the wall when the Communist Revolution comes.  Is there any reason why Jesus should not order the U.S. to suffer Nuclear War?

Jesus Christ as Kalki

There was something interesting while browsing a Hindu board that came up:

"I have been wondering something for quite some time. The "kalki avatar" is supposed to come at the end of this age to restore peace to the world. He is seen riding a white horse and having a blazing sword in his hand. In the bible, in the book of Revelation - chapter 19 I believe, Jesus Christ is also seen riding a white horse and having a sharp sword. So my question is will Jesus Christ be the anticipated "kalki avatar?"

"If yes, I see a big problem. If Jesus Christ is "kalki" then only Christians can go to heaven and be saved from hell-fire. What will happen to all the non-christians such as Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists, Sikhs, etc. Will they be condemned to hell for eternity because they did not believe Jesus was the Son of God and died for their sins? Then God would not be fair right? What do y'all think?"

Christ as Kalki?  The parallel has been explored before.  Kalki is a Messianic Figure in Hinduism.  Kalki is an avatar or incarnation of Vishnu that is supposed to come at the end of the Kali Yuga and wipe out the evil that is on the face of the Earth.  Jesus Christ as the Messiah is what Christians know and believe, and Messianic Jews (a faction in Judaism that has been gaining a lot of attention and is growing) have come to realize.

There are some striking parallels between Kalki and the Messiah.  For instance:
* Both would be preceded and accompanied by Fire.
* Both used the White Horse symbolism.
* Both will defeat Evil.
* One of the preceeding signs is great wickedness.

But to answer the question of the Hindu who asked.  Christ will save the more righteous of the people.  This means all people: Buddhist, Hindu, Jain, Muslim, Christian, Pagan, Wiccan, Shinto -- all who are righteous and follow the Spirit or the teachings of their good and just ministers of their faith, will be saved. :)

So there is no need to worry.

Teary eyed. That's how I feel tonight, teary eyed.

I don't usually talk Spirituality on this blog, since I don't know how many readers actually understand matters of the Spirit, but . . .

It was wonderful.

For those who want to know what goes on, all I can say is that for Christians, its where the symbols of how to get to Heaven and to Know Who You Really are taught. An LDS Temple, both inside and outside, are the most beautiful buildings built by Man on the face of the Earth.

The best materials available always go into the construction, adornment, and furnishing of the temple. Gold, silver, the best cloth; no expense must be spared in making an LDS Temple beautiful. It is the House of the Lord. It is the place where true liberty, life, and happiness dwell.

Happy Belated Easter Everyone!

I wish to express happiness at Easter time. Easter is celebrated by Christianity as the morning of the First Resurrection. The morning of the First Resurrection is the time when those who are Celestial in spirit are resurrected. I.e., their spirits are joined with their bodies in an eternal basis, and ascend to the heavens.

The Afternoon of the First Resurrection ensures that those who are Terrestial in spirit are resurrected also. And the evening or the Second Resurrection resurrects those who followed the Law of the Jungle -- i.e. telestially minded. Finally, those who choose error in this Life over truth are also resurrected.

The first to be resurrected is Joshua ben Joseph of Nazereth. He is known in the world as Jesus the Christ (Christ is Greek for the "annointed one.") Many other blogs have noted that the day of Easter is actually a pagan holiday. The worship of Eostre, the ancient Indo-European goddess of the dawn, took place around this time. However, Easter somehow follows the Jewish Passover on most years, so the time to worship and to remember the Resurrection is set for all us Christians.

Christianity is a religion that offers hope to many people around the world. You can't be a Christian without believing in the Resurrection of Jesus Christ -- ie. the act of Him reuniting with his body. Joshua ben Joseph is a real person. He atoned for our sins, was crucified, and was resurrected after. He is the Messiah, the Annointed One. He didn't come down to be our God, nay . . . he's our Savior instead. He taught us, through his life, how to live and obtain happiness.

Religion in the Known Lands, Pt 3

Monotheism

Okay, Monotheism is the belief in One God. Monotheism has impacted the Known Lands far more than any other religion recounted. Most people in the Known Lands are monotheists or profess to be monotheists. With the exception of the Orcs, who are mostly without a doubt Shamanistic; all cultures are professed to be Monotheistic with the exception of a few.

There are many Monotheistic religions, but two stand out. Christianity and the Holy Light.


Christianity

Christians are people who express belief in Jesus Christ as the savior of Mankind. With the arrival of the Bretonia came people who expressed and professed Christianity. Christianity in the Known Lands was once very Laissez faire and democratic. However, as the Christians got organized they reorganized a Heirarchy of Bishops, Archbishops, Pastors, and Priests.

Christianity in the Known Lands is very popular, and many people express belief in Jesus Christ and follow what he taught. The chief religious text among Christians, however, is the Bible. Clerics among Christians who profess true Faith in Christ and in God receive the following domains: Good, Healing, and Knowledge. The religion itself is Neutral Good.

The Holy Light

The Holy Light is mostly a philosophy. However, it is placed under monotheism since almost all followers of the Holy Light profess a belief in a Supreme Being or God. People think that the Holy Light is a synthesis of the Path of Light among the Kalashtar and Christianity. But this is not so. Most people in the Known Lands, including the Massalian Elves and the people of Caithness, follow the Holy Light.

There is little difference between Christianity and the followers of the Holy Light on the surface -- but Christians find those who believe in the Holy Light to be misguided. Most followers in the Holy Light do not believe in a Savior. But they do believe in a Supreme Being.

The Holy Light is surprisingly laissez faire despite the priesthood that exists. The religion of the Holy Light is organized; and can get very dogmatic. Unlike Christianity, which is considered to be a Mystery Cult or Mysterious Religion (something most Christians would reject is the word -- Cult) the Holy Light isn't considered a cult. Just a way to follow and attain spirituality.

Game Rules:
Clerics of the Holy Light can choose the Community, Glory, Good, Healing, Knowledge, and War domains.

Bigotry still exists in our Country . . .

The Reverend Al Sharpton made a faux pas. Rev. Al Sharpton said, "As for the one Mormon running for office, those that really do believe in God will defeat him anyway, so don't worry about that. That's a temporary situation."

Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney [pictured] called Al Sharpton on his remark. Mitt said: "It shows that bigotry exists in some corners. I thought it was a most unfortunate comment to make." The Presidential hopeful further remarked, "I don't know Reverend Sharpton. I doubt that he is personally such a thing. But the comment was a comment that can described described as a bigoted comment. Perhaps he didn't mean it that way, but the way it came out was inappropriate and wrong."

Commentary: I find it unfortunate that the Reverend Al Sharpton had to make such a comment. The comment proves that there are misconceptions that still exist in the Bible Belt about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I believe that the comment was made in ignorance of Mitt Romney's faith and devotion to God. I have no doubt that the Rev. Al Sharpton is a good man. He just has some misconceptions about LDS Church. Fortunately, the good Reverend made a public Apology to the Presidential hopeful from Massachusetts.
Is the beliefs of Mormons like myself unique from mainstream American Christendom? In many ways they are. But in other ways, we believe in the same God, the same Creator, the same Savior, and the same Holy Ghost. We believe in the same teachings of the Master Jesus Christ. And many of us, myself included, believe that Jesus Christ is our personal Savior. What the Rev. Al Sharpton did was shocking to me.
